Acupuncture

Acupuncture originated in the East about five to seven thousand years ago. The cause of a person's troubles or symptoms is diagnosed through determining certain imbalances within the natural flow of the life force or energy within (also referred to as Chi). It involves the insertion of hair-fine acupuncture needles into certain points along these energy lines or meridians. It releases blockages and encourages the restoration of the proper flow allowing for the return of health and vitality. It is used for prevention, or for a wide range of physical, mental and emotional complaints. It is now a widely practiced in UK hospitals for pain relief and many medical conditions.
